Cameron Highlands

Our second stop in Malaysia was Cameron Highlands (Famous for strawberry farms, and tea plantations). We drove up into the mountains to get to the Highlands. It was a very green drive. If the taxi driver wasn't driving so fast around those tight, winding mountain turns, I probably would have enjoyed it much more.

Malaysia has a huge Indian population, so we were able to enjoy a great amount of Indian food, which I really loved!! Especially all the Naan.

School crossing.

After eating, we went out to explore the highlands. They had some really nice, pretty green hiking.

Has anyone ever seen the movie The God's Must Be Crazy? If so, do you remember the car in it. Well, this happens to be its newer cousin. It belonged to the forest service.

When I read this at first, I thought it was English. They have a lot of words that are really close to English, but aren't.

This sign caught my fancy because it reminded me of all the times we drove into mountains and I thought I was going to die due to sharp turns, speedy driving, and steep drops.

Since I took a picture of a stop sign in Thailand, I had to complete the tradition and take one in Malaysia too. I never thought to in Taiwan, but I don't know that I can remember ever seeing one in Taiwan.

Cute local. He let us take a picture of his house.

Pretty waterfall, minus the trash in the water. So sad to see humans disrespect the beauty around them.

The next three pictures are us pretending to be our favorite types of jungle animals. Can anyone guess what we are?

Did you guess right?.... (tnahpele, regit, yeknom) - I typed the clues backwards.

A very old, but fun, truck.

Tea plantation. One of the things that Cameron Highlands is famous for.

Mmm... good-looking food, great-looking nature, and I agree, I don't remember seeing stop signs in Taiwan... do they stop?

Maybe we should ask that question to some of our friends in Taiwan.
